Dover Street Market Paris has unveiled Pirosmani, a captivating courtyard installation by Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons, celebrating the legacy of Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani. The installation, which opened on December 12th, 2024, was marked by a special launch event the following evening. Guests enjoyed the debut of the book Niko Pirosmanashvili: A Study of His Life and Art by Tengiz Mirzashvili and Arkady Troyanker. The evening also featured a moving performance by the Ensemble Marani choir, complemented by traditional Georgian food and wine. This unique cultural experience highlights Pirosmani’s timeless artistry in a stunning fashion context.
